review: i have to wonder if the other review is legit. everyone i know loves this place--the lot is always full at meal times. i went to college in abilene and loved it. they have great bbq dinners & sandwiches but if you 're a steak lover, this is the place. ribeyes are outstanding (i prefer the 1 1/4 inch/medium rare). it 's a run-down old shack of a building which only adds to the lore. only drawback is that you have to wait in line twice (if you get a steak). once to order & to pay after done (steaks have to be weighed). best value for outstanding steaks.
i recommend you order the ribeye

review: any place that does not consider brisket to be barbecue is a waste of time in my book. bad service, overpriced, very bad attitude.
i recommend you order the none
