review: the food is really good, i regularly visit shalimar for the food and the service they provide. really good food, should be tried once if one stays in albany.
i recommend you order the malai kofta, shahi paneer

review: the food was wonderful--good cuts of meat with thick, tasty sauces. the ambiance--well, we actually had take-out, but seeing the place was surprisingly nice with low lighting, cultural music, and festive atmosphere. the service was exceptional--the manager attended my order over the phone and helped me when i arrived to pick the food up. he was extremely curteous and truly made the difference. i will certainly be back to shalimar in the near future.
i recommend you order the lamb palak, chicken korma

review: it 's delicious very best food and many kinds of indian foods. everyone should come in and try the delicious food for a restaurant in albany, ny. my taste is much better than other indian restaurant which it 's better than gandhi and india palace in albany, ny. the shalimar 's employees are very friendly and it 's great menu and enjoy to eating the best indian restaurant.
